So far my loss of hearing has taken me to 3 hearing specialist. The first sold me a device that fit into my ear which required monthly and later semi monthly visits for adjust-ments. This office closed after my first year of use, which was ok with me due to total waste of time & money. Next I visited an Audiologist who refered me to an ear nose throat specialist where I've undergone several more tests and now waiting an MRI appointment (may be a tumor). Frankly, I am rapidly approaching the analysis that hearing specialists belong to the "quack" industry. I would appreciate any reasuring words of advice that I am on the right path.
